Peer Letter #1

Thinking back on the work we have done so far this semester, I think my writing has

grown, aided by the SLOs. The main SLO that I have improved upon is the composing process. I

have grown to understand that writing is a process and should be treated as such. I have begun to

take more time during the drafting stages of writing as I believe that it is a critical step. I always

start off with an outline as it keeps me on track and aids my essays readability. After coming up

with a rough draft, I find it essential to get other people to review my work and get constructive

feedback. Using that feedback, Ill go back and revise my draft. With my revised draft, Ill go

back to my reviewers and get final feedback before finalizing my paper. The main idea that has

guided me that you grow by writing. This is useful when Im stuck on a paper, I just begin

writing and organize my thoughts.
