INTRODUCTION

The word Tacheometry (Surveying) taken from the Greek takhus metron means a 'quick measurement'.
It is a branch where horizontal distance and vertical distance are obtained by observation method
through the capillary stadia found in binoculars. The commonly used tool for that purpose is the
theodolite.
With the use of a Tacheometry tool, we no longer need to use the chain. The results obtained from this
work are faster. It is suitable for use in uneven areas such as valleys, rivers and many barriers.
