CAUTION
Flights into RNO may be descended to minimum vectoring altitudes
by Approach Control. Depending on location, this may increase the
possibility of a GPWS warning. If a GPWS / Terrain, Terrain warning
is received, the escape maneuver must be initiated unless the crew
is in day visual meteorological conditions and can immediately and
unequivocally confirm safe terrain clearance until landing.

PAPI limitations due to high terrain (see page 10-9A).
Circling approaches east of Runway 16R/34L centerline must
remain west of the FMG VOR R-181 for terrain clearance.

CAUTION
All departures must be flown following the assigned SID ground
track until above the MEA, MSA or Grid MORA, whichever is most
applicable. If in RADAR contact, flight may request and accept a
direct routing.
If an engine failure after V1 occurs during takeoff from Runways
16R or 16L, immediately execute the Engine Failure Takeoff
procedures on page 10-7V thru 10-7Y.
Do not accept a climb gradient greater than 525 per NM. Runway
16 L/R have departure procedures that exceed this limit. Refer to
appropriate departure procedure for take-off minimums.
Special Procedures
Inoperative Nav Aids - Engine Failure Procedures:
When ceiling is less than 3000' or visibility is less than 3 miles,
takeoff is PROHIBITED when an associated NAVAID is out of
service, except:
Pegasus 757/767 and 737 aircraft may substitute FMC navigation
(LNAV). Non-Pegasus 757/767 aircraft may also substitute FMC
navigation (LNAV), but only after reaching the runway number
one or number two hold short position, and aircraft nav accuracy
is verified (i.e. - map display aircraft symbol is touching runway).
S80 GFMS (EFIS) aircraft may substitute GFMS navigation
(NAV). S80 FMC aircraft may also substitute FMC navigation
(NAV), but only after verifying the correct departure runway is
