ANDROID BASED COLLEGE BELL SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
This project proposes to replace the traditional timer based bell with app based system. Now no
need to maintain a corresponding person to ring the bell, changing the time or verifying is made
user friendly now it will be accessible anywhere anytime just on a single click on your android
device. Just install Bell App on your android device and you can access all the time to ring the
bell of our college.. This project includes cc3100 wireless unit or a GSM with msp430 series
microcontroller: add notices alarm, which is handled by Admin. The Admin can add, delete, and
update them simultaneously from the smart phone. These settings can be viewed by user form
onboard display.

INTRODUCTION

Cellular text messaging services are become more popular now a days. Whether to co-ordinate
meetings, office reminders, and event, this type of communication is now offered by cellular
networks. The voice based services are unavailable, SMS, messages are successfully received
because the control channels are responsible for their delivery. Now a days colleges are using
Traditional manual based belling system so here we are thinking more advanced system of
Android Based Application. The user can set the time of belling from anywhere in the college
campus or outside [1]. This paper implement E-bell system which can run on any android based
smart phone either by local area network or wired or wireless network [2].

SCOPE

This system is useful for accessing notice on android device.

It informs students about the activities and various events related to their college.
No need to go and change the setting every time manually.

IMPLEMENTATION
Implement of auto bell program which can run on any android smart phone either by local area
network or wired or wireless network [1]. We develop android app beneficial to user for
accessing the all college related timing to ring the bell. There are following steps of E-bell [1]:

Step 1: Admin can login by entering his user_id and password.

Step 2: Admin can add, delete, edit and update information about timing of bell.

Step 3: After the modification the data will be sent to the unit through internet

Step 4: user can view the time settings done and can modify it individually

Step5: on board access and visibility provides for manual storage of time and data
