007: Casino Royale (2006) Synopsis

James Bond was recently promoted to 007 status when he is sent to Africa to uncover

links involving the funding of a terrorist organization. After killing the man he was following in

an embassy Bond is sent on leave by M16 for disobeying order. Using Intel gathered in

Madagascar Bond flies to the Nassau Bahamas to uncover another ring leader in the terrorist

organization. There he kills the middle man and is able to discover that Le Chiffre is planning to

bomb the unveiling of the worlds largest plane. Bond stops the bombing at the Miami airport

and is retrieved by M16 where they send him to Europe with a 5 million buy in to Le Chiffres

poker game to fund terrorism. He meets Vesper there who is in charge of the 5 million dollars

Bond is given to gamble. In the first round Bond calls Le Chiffres bluff and loses all 5 million.

Vesper denies him another 5 million buy in but the CIA operative trades places with Bond. Bond

wins the second time around and he and Vesper make off with the money. In the end bond turns

in his resignation letter to travel the world with Vesper who later betrays him by giving the

millions won to the terrorist organization. Vesper later dies and Bond goes on to catch Mr. White

a broker between the terrorist organization and Le Chiffre. Which then carries over into the next

movie Quantum of Solace.
