Why UnifyIP?
The drive for wireless operators to squeeze more out of existing
2G and 2.5G investments and to generate new revenue from 3G
networks as quickly as possible are major priorities. At the same
time they must overcome some major challenges, including the
growing complexity of wireless technology and the associated
problems of wireless/IP convergence. They need to do all this
against a backdrop of critical skills shortages and enormous time
pressures imposed by governments, debt repayment plans and
competition.
In the market, many products (such as drive test tools and protocol
analyzers) allow users to monitor radio or network performance.
However, sometimes they provide poor KPI creation and
troubleshooting capabilities and none combines those features with
a clear vision of user perception (QoE).

Iu and Iub combined traces may not work (if both user planes are included,
event detection will not discriminate between them).
Before loading the data, you should use the Scenarios link on the Load and
Select Data page and then select the scenarios for the protocols that you are
investigating. Selecting those scenarios and no others generally improves the
performance of UnifyIP.
CDMA client files with IP tunneling will not be loaded correctly PPP
reassembly will drop packets and cause the application layer to produce
misleading data.
