Conventional material used for machine tool beds, called as composite material. We
were prepared and tested epoxy granite composite specimens, and we concluded
that it has a better stiffness compressive and flexural strength and 2 to 3 times
greater vibration Damping than the conventional materials such as M.S, C.I etc.
