QUIZ BOWL Mechanics:

1. Teams shall be from each division

2. Contest shall be held at Rm F213 on February 22
3. Registration will start from 3:40 4:00 pm
4. Each team will be composed of three participants from any year level.
5. Once a team lacks one member, it shall be considered disqualified.
6. Each team will be provided with board and pen, from which they will
write their answers.
7. The contest will start at exactly 4:10 pm until 5:40pm
8. The quiz bowl consists of three rounds namely, easy, moderate and
difficult.
9. Ten questions will be allotted for each round.
10. At the end of each round, the quizmaster shall read the scores
garnered by each team.
11. The quizmaster shall read a question twice.
12. Once the contest has started, the contestants will not be allowed to
glance at the other teams boards.
13. Once caught glancing at other teams board, that team will be
disqualified.
14. The teams shall be given 10 seconds to answer each question.
15. A signal shall be given for the teams to their boards.
16. Once the board is raised, nobody is allowed to make any changes to
their answer.
17. Winner will be announced at the end of the contest.
18. The top three teams will be declared as winners.
19. In case of tie, a tie-breaking question will be given.

Point System:

Easy round: 3 pts for each question

Moderate round: 5 pts for each question
Difficult Round: 10 pts for each question

Champion: Gold medals and certificates
1st runner-up: Silver Medals and certificates
2nd runner-up: Bronze Medals and certificates
