DELIVERABLE (20%)
You are required to search and identify a suitable NEWS or REPORT article in any
form of print-media or e-media that speaks of issues related to ENVIRONMENT
and SUSTAINABILITY. You are then required to discuss the article thoroughly
from an engineering point of view keeping in mind the following:
A) Overall technical content of report taking into account the breadth and
depth of issues discussed.
B) Complexity:
Problems related to ENVIRONMENT and SUSTAINABILITY.
Relevant reference to acts or manuals or guidelines, etc. (if relevant).
Provide engineering solutions to the problem.
Critically comment the impact of the solution by considering the
limitations, constraints and boundaries of engineering solutions.
Is it possible to improve the outcome using a non-engineering
approach ?
C) There will be NO presentation.
