2. What new learning did you get from paper?

I learned that Pakapa-kapa is an important method used in Philippine Psychology. Its a huge help in
the field of research in terms of collecting information. For me this method is necessary and helpful
in research as there are important informations we can only retrieve by the use of this method,
although there are minor problems can occur in terms of reliability, validity and data contamination.
I also learned ways to prove if the data captured are reliable and valid, in which reliability can
achieve by repeating observations and validity can be established through repeated samplings of
variety of informants also having more than one investigator could resolve the reliability and validity
issue. This method also failed to specify which are true from not.

3. What is the papers contribution to Sikolohiyang Pilipino?

The method/concept Pakapa-kapa contributed to Sikolohiyang Pilipino, it opens an
opportunity to deeply get in through and understand the study of Filipino behavior, the
information gathered will open a door to clearly explained things about Filipino culture and
society. This also leads to discoverization of particular cultures, letting Filipino Psychologists to
be more creative. This unlimits the researcher to experimental and old similar techniques. This
play an important role to justify the hypotheses for the research.

Sa mga tala ni Jayson D. Petras, isa sa malaking naiambag ni Doktor Virgilio Enriquez and
pagpapa yaman at pagpapalaganap ng Wikang Pilipino sa ating bansa bilang tanda na din ng pag
maka-bayan. Isa na rin itong paraan para mas mapahalagahan natin ang ating kultura at mas
malalim na maintindihan ng pang kalahatan ang Sikolohiyang Pilipino.

Ang tala na ito ni Jayson D. Petras ay upang maipabatid sa lahat ang kahalagahan ng Wikang
Pilipino sa Sikolohiya sa ating bansa. Ito ay upang ipabatid na rin ang adbokasiya ni Doc. Virgilio
Enriquez sa pag papalaganap ng wikang Pilipino sa larangan ng Sikolohiya na naglalayong mas
malalim na mainindihan bilang isang Pilipino kung ano ng aba ang Sikolohiyang Pilipino. Malaki
ang nagging dulot nito sap ag-papairal ng wikang Pilipino bago pa man kainin ng Sistema ng
Westernisasyon at Globalisasyon and Sikolohiyang Pilipino.
