Lesson
By looking at the front and back covers of the book, students will come up with
their own predictions of what will happen in book.
Review and discuss vocab words and their meaning
Build background with the word winter

Activity
Color and then cut out two halves of mitten. Staple edges. Color and cut out animals, then
put inside mitten.
