Design an Exercise or Workshop

Throughout the semester, weve worked on a variety of exercises and games that involve

the joker and the spect-actors. I am incredibly interested in creating my own sort of classroom

setting in which I might be able to conduct my own sort of world of Boalian Technique

instruction.

I would love to be able to take the technique and classes to a population that would be

very new to the entire idea of working in group setting and with community. My primary studio,

The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, is one that is very focused on the actor in solitude,

so many of us sometimes will panic when presented with the opportunity to work on scenes with

people not from Strasberg or work in groups concerned with acting. Id love to be able to do a

workshop there using the book by Augusto Boal on Games.

I think there is an excellent chance of me being able to facilitate this even in the next

coming weeks, because the semester for them is winding down and I am on good terms with the

administrators and studio heads. I will be reaching out to them in the coming days to set up a

meeting and make sure there is some space available before the deadline of the assignment.
