I was excited to heard about the opening for a civil engineering assistant/secretary. I
have been looking forward to being a part of your company, because I feel it will be a
huge opportunity to work with such a successful engineering company. I know I would
be a great addition to your organization, because I have an outstanding work ethic,
great communication skills, and am always looking to better myself in any way I can.

The first quality that makes me right for this job is the fact that I have a working
knowledge of the job. I know deadlines are a huge part of this job, and with me they
would always be met. Another skill that makes me a good choice for this job is my
communication skills. Past work experience has taught me how to communicate with
people both online and in person. The last skill I have is experience working with payroll
and starting plans. I have been around civil engineers, and worked with them on
construction jobs. These give me the edge ahead of others in a way that I understand
what goes into this job, and the necessity for the right people to be on the job.
