2. To translate/explain the new words
3. To use the newly acquired words in contexts of their own

A. ORGANIZATIONAL MOMENT

- Greeting
- Absents’ noting down
- Preparation for the lesson-start

B. HOMEWORK-CHECK

- The students are asked to read the exercise

MATERIAL: MANUAL

TIME: 10’

C. PRACTICE

- The teacher writes on the blackboard “FRUITS and VEGETABLES”

- The teacher asks the students what fruits and vegetables they know and asks each
student to write on the blackboard the word he/she knows
- The students are asked to gather in 4 groups
- The students are given 1 note at a time (2 notes) with a word related to food, in
English, each group a different word, known only by that group
- The students are asked to write as many words or phrases related to the word they
have, or explain the word, and the other groups are asked to guess the words and
write them down on the notebook
- At the end, the winning group will be the one which guessed most of the words.

D. PRODUCTIVE STAGE

- Students will open books and they will make sentences individually with the words
from exercise 27/60.
- Each student will read one sentence.

E. WRITING (HOMEWORK)

The students are asked to do exercise 28/60 and also to write a short presentation
about Romanian traditional food.
