This document calculates the maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) and maximum allowable pressure for a new and cold (MAPNC) pipe given its thickness, material properties, and diameter. The MAWP is calculated as 12.064 kgf/cm2 for an 8mm thick corroded pipe. The MAPNC is calculated as 18.724 kgf/cm2 for an 8mm thick new pipe using the same diameter and material properties. Formulas from Appendix 1-4(c) are used to calculate both pressures.

Allowable Working Pressure at given Thickness, corroded [MAWP]:
Less Operating Hydrostatic Head Pressure of 0.832 kgf/cm = (2*S*E*t)/(Kcor*D+0.2*t) per Appendix 1-4 (c) = (2*968.49*1.00*8.0000)/(1.000*1200.0000+0.2*8.0000) = 12.896 - 0.832 = 12.064 kgf/cm here we will use selected thk. (corroded) of plate I.e 8mm this MAWP will be corroded I.e for example after 20 years.
