TEMPAT PELELANGAN IKAN (TPI) LAMPULO
KOTA BANDA ACEH

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis parasit serta menentukan

tingkat prevalensi jenis-jenis parasit pada cumi-cumi (Loligo spp.) di Tempat
Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) Lampulo Kota Banda Aceh. Sampel cumi-cumi yang
digunakan sebanyak 20 ekor dan diperiksa di Laboratorium Parasitologi Fakultas
Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan
Maret 2016. Pemeriksaan ektoparasit pada permukaan tubuh dilakukan dengan
cara membuat kerokan lendir dan kulit sedangkan pemeriksaan endoparasit
dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan organ dalam cumi-cumi yang diletakkan ke
cawan petri. Identifikasi parasit dilakukan secara mikroskopis. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan terdapat satu jenis endoparasit yaitu Anisakis sp. dengan prevalensi
5%.

 Identification of Parasites on Squids (Loligo spp.) in the Fish Auction Site
(FAS) Lampulo Banda Aceh City

ABSTRACT

This research has purposes to identify parasites as well as to rewarding

determine the prevalence of parasites on squid (Loligo spp) in the Lampulo Fish
Auction Site (FAS) Banda Aceh. A total of 20 squids was used as samples and
examined in the Laboratory of Parasitology of Veterinery Faculty Syiah Kuala
University. The research was carried out in March 2016. Examination of
ectoparasites on the surface of the body was conducted on mucous and skin and
examination of endoparasites conducted by observation at inner body of squid
that was placed on the petridish. Identification of parasites obtained was done
microscopically. The research revealed that one type of endoparasite Anisakis sp.
was found with prevalence of 5%.
