City offices closed for
Christmas, New Years
All City of Bradenton offices are
closed Monday, Dec. 25, and
Tuesday, Dec. 26, for the Christ-
mas holiday.
City offices also are closed on
Monday, Jan. 1, for New Years
Day.
Below is the trash collection
schedule for the upcoming holi-
days.
Christmas
No trash collection on Monday,
Dec. 25. Household garbage,
recycling and yard waste will be
collected on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
Collection of Tuesdays routes
will take place on Wednesday,
Dec. 27.
New Years Eve Main Street Live!
The last downtown party of 2017 will take place on New Years
Eve on Old Main Street.
Main Street Live! Is scheduled to take place Sunday night from
5-midnight with live music from opening band The Beat Down
followed by Have Gun, Will Travel.
Old Main Street between Manatee and Third avenues west will
close to motorists at 2:30 p.m. and will not reopen until after
midnight. The Bradenton Police Department will reopen Old
Main Street when it deems it is safe for vehicular traffic.
Live music will begin around 5 p.m. There will be vendors lin-
ing both sides of Old Main Street; Please remember to move
your parked vehicle before 2:30 p.m.
There is no charge or age limit to attend, but you must be at
least 21 to enter the bars.
