Early Learning Centre Learning Experience

Purpose:
Reason for developing learning experience.
This could be in response to an observation,
discussion with the site supervisor, Ontario
Curriculum Objective,etc.
Purpose:
The purpose of this activity is the fact that the children will get to enhance their gross
motor skills while throwing the ball.

Observation

-Document in detail: who, what, where and In class, I observed that the children have this green soft ball which they throw around
when on the carpet all day. I saw Child A and Child B playing catch with this ball and also

tense, objective and in anecdotal format toddlers enjoy gross motor activities, thus I made this plan.

 Implementation:
-The children will be called to the carpet where this activity will take place
-They will all be seated against the wall and be called up for their turn when I say
their names
-Bowling Pins will be set up on the opposite side of where the children are seated
-I will give the ball to the children who will roll it one at a time to knock down the
pins
-Once the pins fall, I will reset them for each kid and give them all a turn
-After the activity is complete, I will put the material back where it belongs.
