Martin's 2017 Christmas Quiz - QUESTIONS
Martin's 2017 Christmas Quiz - QUESTIONS
Lets get the formalities out of the way Happy Holidays! This quiz is unashamedly based on Christmas,
Christmas traditions, and my experiences of Christmas. Whatever Christmas means to you, whether it be a
religious festival, a time to spend with family and friends, something other people do, or just a good excuse
for a party, you are welcome to play. I mean no offence in offering this up to my friends from other
cultures and religions, and I hope none is taken. Ive tried to keep an international audience in mind with
the questions, but Ive spent all 38 of my Christmases to date in the UK, so my cultural breadth might be
lacking!
As we all know, Christmas is about giving, and this is my gift to you. Ive researched and written the quiz
myself, in an effort to get you something fun to do that you wont find elsewhere. In return, I have an ask.
With this quiz, Im raising money for Anthony Nolan, A UK-based charity devoted to saving the lives of
people with blood cancer.
My ask is, if you play the quiz, and especially if you enjoy it, consider paying the gift forward by making a
donation on my Martins 2017 Christmas Quiz page. Just a couple of Pounds, Dollars, Euros, or whatever
your currency of choice, would be wonderful. But please give more if you would like. If youve a paper
copy of this and want the full link, its below.

Finally, something on the how to play. Do as many or as few rounds as you like. Be competitive. Be
collaborative. Argue. Blame. Praise. Congratulate. Commiserate. Celebrate. But most importantly, have
fun. Im offering no prizes, but if you play with others, you can offer all the prizes in the word. Ive done
my best to ensure the answers are correct, but there are no money-back guarantees! If Google gives you a
different answer, so be it. Those who have tried my quizzes before know that I like to put some really
tough questions in now and then theres no point in everyone getting full marks, right? So dont be put
off give it your best shot. There wont be many who score 100%... Will you be one of them?
With that, I wish you, your family, your friends, and anyone youre meeting over the coming couple of
weeks, the warmest greetings of the season.
Heres that link again, in case you missed it the first time: Martins 2017 Christmas Quiz page.
