PROJECT NAME
PROJECT PISZ (PRESENCE IN SUSCEPTIBLE ZONE)

PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The program aims to decrease and prevent street crimes wherein every Roll
Call Formation is to be conducted at different crime prone areas in every shift daily
by the incoming police patrollers supervised by responsible officer.

In this tactic, a strong police presence during RCF will have a greater impact
on two possible target audiences:

a) Impact against criminals- police visibility would hesitate criminals to perform

their nefarious activities, thus reducing the rate of crime within the area.

b) Impact to public- a notion will be created being that police presence affected
by that RCF makes people think and feel they are in safe hands a feeling of
assurance on their security, thus, gaining more trust and confidence, instead
of fear to the police.

PROJECT DETAILS
The Roll Call Formation is held from one specific area to another.

The Station Commander, investigation officer and operation officer would

identify/monitor those crime prone areas on every end of the day even before the
conduct of the weekly crime trend. They monitor all the crimes that have transpired
within AOR considering the time, and place of crime occurrence. So that, on the
following day or even the same day as the case maybe, a roll call formation will be
conducted at the place or area of the crime for the on the spot adjustment of
deployment of personnel.

This kind of Roll Call formation is not fixed for the week nor for the month, it is
dependent upon the projected crime that is most likely to occur in an area. It is also
conducted in places of convergence (in front of malls, market, highways, terminals
and depressed areas) purposely for public view. Further, each PCP has an
independent RCF strictly supervised by their respective Shift Patrol Supervisor
(SPS) to ensure proper and well-organized accounting of personnel as well as
dissemination of latest memoranda or directives.

PROJECT SCHEDULE

The project is held during shift of police patrollers tour of duties and Roll Call
Information.

PROJECT UPDATES

The twelve (12) other stations of QCPD have been urged to adopt the same
as said practice had been effective in increasing police visibility thereby significantly
deterring the commission of street crimes.

With this endeavor, the public positively see that Cubao Police Station is
working wholeheartedly and committed to increase visibility to ensure the people of a
safer place to live, work and do business.
