My attempt at prose

A small Jewish boy with a soul full of light is fully extinguished in the kingdom of night.

Even in this suffering, this unending torment, there is still an angel of wisdom sent.

Empathy is the message, also the message of hope. Night covers all in its powerful scope.

Empathy is scarce

Feeling for another

Moishe and the rest

Become as close as a brother

His horrific story

His imploded soul

The foolishness of the Jews

Soon took its toll

Another point, of equal strength

Is the message of hope, and what makes it shrink

A single person can become an arbiter

pain is kindling, and they are the lighter.

The Kingdom of Night

Horrific as it may be

There is always a lesson

Its just hard to see.
