Free and fun for the whole family, these free performances take place
at 6:00 PM each Thursday throughout the summer at the Bernie Milton
Pavilion on the Ithaca Commons.
CARING
items, pet supplies and school supplies which are then sorted and
distributed by volunteers at the Day of Caring event. These items help fill
the shelves at local pantries, community organizations, and schools.
A Cappella Cornell Student United Way hosts the Annual A Cappella United Concert.
This town-gown tradition is a rare opportunity to see Cornell’s top a
UNITED
cappella groups in one setting. All proceeds benefit United Way of
Tompkins County’s Summers of Service Program.
CU HOMECOMING SEPTEMBER
During December UWTC hosts a Holiday Open House. With this event,
we take a moment during the busy holiday season to come together

and express our gratitude and appreciation for the community’s efforts
toward helping us live united.
The Wine & Dine Radiothon is a day-long live auction on WHCU 870 AM
or 95.9 FM featuring local restaurants and wineries. Listeners can call
in every hour to bid on a different restaurant and wine pairing. BY the
end of the hour the listener with the highest bid wins the package and
all proceeds from the day go directly to United Way of Tompkins County.
CAMPAIGN CELEBRATION & VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION APRIL

takes place at the Country Club of Ithaca and it represents a way for

Campaig celebrate a successful campaign.
Join United Way of Tompkins County and support their Hunger and Food
Security Initiative by attending the annual Hunger Hero Competition. The
winning sandwich witll be added to the menus at CTB. A portion of the
proceeds will be donated to United Way of Tompins County, and all funds
will be invested in local food programs.
Every year at the Ithaca Festival Parade we team up with Cayuga Radio
ACTION
health. This event is a community-wide opportunity bringing together
individuals, organizations and businesses for day-long large volunteer
projects.
