Open Report NvsUser (Button) Sheet
Each button has a macro assigned to it to perform some common function. As delivered,
NvsUser has buttons grouped into "Run", "View" and "Command" groups. You are free to
Open Scope change these groupings and the meanings of the buttons.
You can format the button sheet to customize its color and appearance.
Open Layout To change the macro a button is assigned to:
Position the mouse pointer over the button (it becomes a hand), but don't press it.
Press the right mouse button, and from the shortcut menu, select "Assign Macro...".
Provide the name or reference of the macro you want to run when the button is pressed.
Press OK to complete the assignment.

Creating a Menu
To have the macros create a DrillDown or other menu for you, follow these steps:
Report 1 Select the "Menu" tab in the NvsUser workbook.
Preferences
2 If desired, edit the name of the menu (the default is DrillDown) in the Menu Name box.
3 Edit the table of menu items, adding, changing and deleting items to get the menu you want.
Menu 4 For each menu item (command) you add, specify one of the following:
A layout, present in your DrillDown layout directory, to be used in a "matrix" DrillDown.

A query name to be used in a tabular DrillDown
The name of a macro you want to run when the menu is selected. This allows you to associate

Custom Toolbar
NvsUser can build a custom Toolbar from a table similar to the table that defines a custom m
1 Select the "Toolbar" tab in the NvsUser workbook.

Shortcut Keys
NvsUser defines the default shortcut keys for DrillDown commands as follows:
Shortcut key Action
Ctrl+Shift+D DrillDown (Present list of Layouts in the DrillDown directory)
Ctrl+Shift+I ReDrill (Repeat last DrillDown)
Ctrl+Shift+J Jump Back to parent cell (cell from which this report drilled down)

You can change these shortcut key assignments by redefining the command shortcut keys for these macros.
Use the Insert Name Define menu command, select the macro name, and change the shortcut key.
