CONCEPT STATEMENT

▪ The women’s shelter in San Francisco, CA will be designed in

true Queen Anne style having a dramatic feminine color palette
with floral patterns on the furniture and draperies. An open
floor plan will bring a sense of family and togetherness to the
clients. Decorative molding and millwork create a luxury look.
The open floor plan will also bring the beautiful San Francisco
landscape inside and also create good contrast between the
dark dramatic color palette.
COLOR PALETTE
z

I decided to go with the color palette with feminine hues

due to the project being a women’s shelter. The dark
colors contrast nicely with the soft pinks and lavenders.
The high contrast will contribute interest as well as make
it easier to distinguish between items and make it easier
for people with sight problems.
