Dear Sir or Madame:

I am writing you this letter of reference for Kacey Rexhausen. I was the director at Halo
Childcare Center and hired Kacey almost four years ago. I hired her as an Assistant Teacher.
Kacey came to the childcare as a student teacher. As a student teacher with our preschool
program, Kacey quickly proved her passion for early childhood education. Along with her ability
to create solid parent partnerships, engaging activities for the children, and her ability to form
excellent team working skills. Kacey was offered a position after only being our student teacher
for about a month. Kacey quickly learned our lesson planning system, portfolios, and all our
policies. Kacey’s teaching skills helped the childcare grow to a 5 star, Nationally Accredited
center. Every task presented to Kacey was completed usually prior to the deadline given. Kacey
was trained in the trauma informed care approach for the classroom and promoted a positive
environment that parents were able to open up and truly learn from her teaching.

As a new teacher, still in school, Kacey quickly excelled to one of the most valued employees.
She is extremely committed to ensuring that all children receive high quality care. Over the past
four years, I had watched as Kacey has continued to grow not only in her education and
experience, but also in her ability to make a difference. She is truly devoted to her philosophy.

I am honored to recommend Kacey to your company. She will quickly prove to be an extremely
valuable employee and become a major force on your team.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Kober
