GUIDELINES FOR DISSERTATION

1. The dissertation shall be computer typed and printed on one sided A4 size paper with normal
margins

2. The text should be in Times New Roman, 12 pt, justified with 1.5 line spacing.

3. The displayed equation must be numbered, centered and separated from surrounding text.

4. All figures should be included within text, numbered consecutively and captioned. The
caption must be written centered and at the bottom of the figure.

5. All tables should be included within text, numbered consecutively and captioned. The caption
must be written centered and at the top of Table.

6. In the body of the text, a reference should be indicated (cited) giving authors’ name and year
of publication in parenthesis such as (Singh and Shan, 2002). In case of more than two
authors, use First author’s surname followed by “et al.” and year of publication such as(Jain et
al., 2005).

7. The references should be listed at the end of the dissertation in alphabetical order indicating:

(i) Authors’ surname and his initials


(ii) Year of publication
(iii) The title of the paper (italic) and full name of the journal
(iv) The number of the volume, page numbers,
