    GROUP DISCUSSION

     Take a look at the cartoons above. Do you find any of them amusing? Why / Why not?
     Which one, if any, seems the most pertinent to the present?
     Do you think serious topics such as cancer are suitable material for humour?
     How many health scares have you been aware of in recent years and how do you think the media handled
    them?
     Now look at the two approaches from the IARC and The Guardian informing the public about carcinogens
    and compare and contrast the information given. Which approach do you prefer and why.
