Anamnesis
A mother brought her 10 days old boy to outpatient clinic. She noticed that both of her boy’s foot
look excessively turned inward since he was born. There is no abnormality at other part of his
body. She had normal delivery with normal weight birth. She never suffered from any kind of
illness and never got any medical prescriptions during pregnancy. She has already brought him to
a traditional bone setter but there was no improvement.

Physical Examination
General examination within normal limit
Extremity examination: at foot region there are abnormalities: 1. Equinus foot, 2. Varus of the foot

A. Klarifikasi Istilah
1. Medical prescriptions: suatu program kesehatan yang diterapkan oleh seorang dokter atau
tenaga medis sebagai instruksi dan perintah sebagai rancangan untuk perawatan seorang
pasien (Frederic P. Miller. 2009). Medical Prescription: Physician, Patient, Caretaker,

2. Normal limit: suatu kondisi dimana keadaan seseorang berada di luar normal namun masih
dikatakan normal. (Learning Issue)
3. Equinus foot: perkenaan atau ditandai dengan atau berasal dari kuda (Dorland). suatu
kondisi dimana gerakan melentur ke atas (antero) pergelangan kaki menjadi terbatas, jadi
arahnya cenderung menghadap ke bawah (posterior).
4. Varus of the foot: kaki yang mengalami deformitas berupa melengkung ke dalam.

B. Identifikasi Masalah
1. A mother brought her 10 days old boy to outpatient clinic because both of her boy’s foot

2. Keluhan ini disertai dengan riwayat persalinan dan berat BBL normal. Selama kehamilan,
ibunya tidak pernah menderita penyakit apapun dan tidak pernah mendapatkan
pengobatan.
