Daily

1 Check that motor and pump are not running usually noisily or hot

2 Check pipe connection and valves are set for leak.

3 change over duty / stand by pump selection

check the excessive or usual noise particularly from the bearings.

Replace bearing as necessaty.
5 Check condition and operation of anti vibration mounts
6 Check condition of flexible connections.
Clean pump with soft cloth, soft brush, cleaning agent and vacuum

cleaner particularly around motor ventilation opening.
8 Check general operation of pump.
Check the operation changeover switching and that non return valve

seat correctly. Check running current of pump motor
10 Tighten the terminalson motor and grease if applicable
Check security joints, flanges, brackets, connections, support and

components using a torque wrench recommended by manufacturer.

13 Renewed chemical Seals
14 Examine pump impeller and replaced if damage by activation.
15 Clean
Check down
watercasing andand
flow rate repaint if necessary
pressure developed by pump if performance
is in doubt using the installedmetering stations and pressure gauge
16 connectors. Accurate calibrated nanometers and pressure test
equipment must be used.
