PRESS RELEASE

Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup is releasing the name

of a woman discovered dead in her residence located at 1807

Sangamon Drive, Champaign, Illinois, earlier today. 60-year-old

Betty J. Stover was pronounced dead at 2:22PM at the scene. Ms.

Stover’s death is being investigated as a homicide by the coroner’s

office and the Champaign Police Department. An autopsy is

scheduled for Saturday, December 30, 2017. An inquest may be

held at a later date.
