Central Park is an urban park in Manhattan, New York City.

Central Park is the most visited urban park in the

United States, with 40 million visitors in 2013, and one of the most filmed locations in the world. The movie
“Madagascar” increased fame of the most famous point of New York City because the protagonists live in
the Central Park Zoo..But other series and movies feature scenes in the park. Sex and the City, where several
scenes take place in Central Park, various episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,
and Law & Order too. The list include Criminal Intent, Avengers, Ghostbusters, Stuart Little, etc.
The park's first area was opened to the public in the winter of 1858, and currently has 843 acres. Central Park,
home to over 25,000 trees,
The Central Park Zoo is part of Central Park and it have many animals: penguins, sea lions, polar bear, snow
leopard and monkeys, as well as birds, reptiles and other specimens.
The Central Park is home to two indoor restaurants. The famed New York City Restaurant Tavern on the
Green is located on the park's grounds at Central Park West and West 67th Street. The Loeb Boathouse
restaurant is the other indoor restaurant in Central Park, located at the Loeb Boathouse on The Lake.
Many popular one-time concerts have been hosted in the park including Barbra Streisand, Elton John, the Simon
and Garfunkel reunion, Diana Ross, Bon Jovi,and Andrea Bocelli.
