Summary: Dr. Tarun Kanti Das is internationally acknowledged Macroeconomist and Public
Financial Management (PFM) Expert with mre than 40 years working experiences and
specialization in macro-fiscal modeling, macroeconomic forecasting, formulation of moneraty-
fiscal policies, project appraisal and monitoring and evaluation, and management of public and
external debt. He worked in 24 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and USA as PFM Consultant
for ADB, AfDB, World Bank, IMF, Commonwealth Secretariat, UNCTAD, UNDP, UN-ECA, UN-
ESCAP, UNITAR and UN-SIAP. He possesses diversity of skills in research, training, teaching,
economic modeling and policy planning. He has various publications on macro-economic
