Ensure the installed underground piping size and level as per the

QCDD approved drawing.
6 Ensure the duck foot is fixed properly in the concrete bottom slab.
7 Check the tightness of the hydrant
Check the direction of valve opening is correctly aligned as per the

approved drawing.
Check for leakage at the flanges, operating nut, nozzles and nozzle
9
caps
If hydrant is equipped with safety chains, ensure the chains are
10
loose and do not bind on the cap
11 check the Surface box covers shall be marked clearly.
12 Testing is completed and recorded.
13 Proper housekeeping done
