IF YES, could you please cite the Labor Law precedent that supports disclusion
of retirees in Class Action Settlements in which they are documented "affected
parties".
d) What are the inclusive dates?
2) What is the formulaic seniority based compensatory breakdown? How will
retirees receive settlements? Are PSE's ALSO entitled to receive payments?
3) On what exact date can affected Philadelphia Installation clerks expect
Class Action Settlement payout? 4) Will there be APHU National or Regional
oversight and/or a Class Action Settlement Posting as is the norm with most
union locals? EIN#, Seniority Date and Amount paid etc.
The enclosed request was necessitated in light of the following:
a) Transparency, disclosure, and disbursement discrepancies and irregularities
are presently disputed issues concerning 204B Class Action Settlements.
b) The National $8.64 million Class Action Grievance Settlement Awarded
12/11/2014. In which the USPS was ordered to pay Maintenance Craft employees
for violations of improper subcontracting. Nearly three (3) years later Local
89's affected custodians have yet to receive settlement
c) As cited in the USPS OIG Audit report pgl. Wherein $40.2 million of a $56
million settlement affecting clerks Nationwide was paid out in January 2016.
Which went unreported to the Philadelphia Installation clerk craft by Union
Officials. Despite there being mumerous Philadelphia stations meeting the cited
affected specifications.
In solidarity, respectfully submitted
