CHARGE/DISCHARGE CAPACITOR

CIRCUIT
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
COMPONENTS
1LED, 1Polalize capacitor (1 microF, 16 V ), 1resistor (40 Ohm), 4 AA batteries, 1
Slide switch, 1 Breadboard
Step 1: Hook the batteries with power rails on the breadboard.
(positive – red, negative - black)
Step 2: Hook the switch to the positive power rails.
Step 3: Connect the common terminal of the
switch to one of the rows.
Step 4: Place a capacitor, be careful with the polarize leg. If you place it
in the wrong way, it will not work. (cathode is negative and anode is
positive)
Step 5: Hook the capacitor to the negative ground.
Step 6: Again, connect the switch to one of the rows.
Step 7: Place the resistor across the ravine, link it to
the switch.
Step 8: Place the LED, be careful with the polarize leg. If you place it in the
wrong way, it will not work. (cathode is negative and anode is positive)
Step 9: Link the LED to the negative ground.
Test it~!
The LED should flash, if it works.
