- To meet the local water discharge requirements, and save the customer
money in sewer charges or water removal charges
- To provide a quality of water required for the process
- Recovery of valuable product
- Remember: the smaller the particle the longer it takes to settle
0.0001mm diameter particles take 4 months to settle 10

MBR BASICS
MBR Filtration Principle Out-In
Membrane pore
size 50 µm
Membrane filters are submerged into the treated water. The filtrate is drawn through and out of
the filters by the slightly negative pressure of only 0.1 bar (0.47 psig)
Based on major fields of FII MBR applications - treatment of sewage, municipal, industrial,
and agricultural wastewaters, Filter Innovations Inc. offers following SYSTEMS:
¾ Containerized MBR Sewage/Wastewater Treatment Plants ( up to 30, 000 GPD/ 120 m3/d )
¾ Decentralized MBR Sewage/Wastewater Treatment Plants (up to 1 MGPD / 3800 m3/d)
¾ Septic Tank MBR Systems
¾ Tertiary Wastewater Treatment Units
Filter Innovations Inc. provides MBR Systems for small and medium size biological treatment plants.
