DR. EMMET MCELHATTON

Commercial Manager
New Zealand G2G

Dear Dr. McElhatton,

This refers to the suggested itinerary of TRC Tourism for a New Zealand study tour of eight
(8) delegates from the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, Philippines.

It is truly a great honor to visit your country and learn the unique approaches of New Zealand
to sustainability based on long-standing tourism principles. Upon perusal of the itinerary, we
would like to join the following activities:

1. Auckland

a. Visit: Time Unlimited Tours

 Time Unlimited Tours is committed to environmental and social
sustainability and has a number of sustainable practices embedded into
their business.

2. Auckland — Meeting with National Agencies

a. Visit: Qualmark New Zealand

 Qualmark is New Zealand tourism’s official quality assurance
organization, providing a trusted guide to quality travel experiences.

b. Visit: Tourism New Zealand

 Tourism New Zealand is the organization responsible for marketing New
Zealand to the world as a tourist destination. The major tool they use to
do this is the 100% Pure New Zealand marketing campaign.

3. Auckland-Northland-Auckland

a. Visit: Footprints Waipoua

Footprints Waipoua provide guided tours into the Waipoua Forest, the home
of Tane Mahuta, the country’s largest kauri tree, which is approximately
2,000 years old and still growing.

4. Rotorua

a. Option 4. Visit: Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest Mountain Bike Park

 With over 160km of twisting, turning mountain bike trails, it has quickly
become one of the top riding trail networks in the world. Mountain Bike
Rotorua started with a vision to provide visitors to Whakarewarewa with a
level of friendly, professional service, and the type of facilities that such a
world-class natural attraction deserves.

b. Evening Option 1. Redwoods Tree Walk

 The Redwoods Treewalk is a 533-metre-long walkway 12-meters above
the forest floor and secured using a New Zealand-first ecologically
friendly method. The walkway was constructed to traverse between 22
majestic 115-year old Redwood trees and existing plants, so they remain
untouched in their natural state.
5. Queenstown

a. Visit: Ziptrek Ecotours

 Ziptrek is a multi award-winning adventure ecotourism business
renowned for delivering awareness and appreciation of the natural
environment along with a good dose of ziplining adventure.

b. Visit: Ngai Tahu Tourism

 Ngai Tahu Tourism is one of the largest tourism operators in New
Zealand, hosting more than one million customers a year across 11
iconic businesses.

c. Visit with: Queenstown Trails Trust

 The Queenstown Trail is a flagship trail (120km of world-class cycling and
walking trails), forming part of New Zealand Cycle Trail. Accessible all
year round and suitable for all abilities with trails ranging from easy to
intermediate.

6. Wellington/Auckland

a. Visit: New Zealand Trade and Enterprise

 To be arranged by Dr. Emmet McElhatton

b. Visit: Te Papa
 Te Papa is New Zealand’s bold and innovative national museum. A
recognised world-leader in interactive and visitor focused museum
experiences, Te Papa lets you experience the nation’s art, culture and
science—right on the waterfront in the country’s capital city.

We would like to request for the final schedule (preferrably in the last week of
February of this year) and estimated cost for the chosen set of activities. We are
looking forward to this unique New Zealand experience that we will surely remember
for a lifetime.
