Dear Sir Mike:

Good day! This letter is to inform the management the process and procedures of hauling
garbage at Alabang Town Center by Yangku Hauling Services.

Since the year 2000, we have been hauling all kinds of garbages and wastes from Alabang Town
Center. Wet, dry, recyclables and wastes have been disposed properly by our workers. We
strictly implement the proper segregation of garbages and wastes, especially when it comes to
food wastes because we are avoiding those to be rotten except only if there are certain companies
who throw very old garbages.

As you have seen, we are really strictly separating garbages and wastes according to its category
and following the rules and laws given by DENR on proper waste and garbage disposal.

And it is also stated that all the recyclables and scraps are supposed to be given to the hauler,
which happened to be us, so we could properly do the segregation.

Here are the categories of garbages being collected at Alabang Town Center:

Recyclables – plastic cups, spoon, fork, carton, papers, metal. Etc.,

Toxic wastes – fluorescent, batteries, pieces of shattered glass. Etc.,

Green wastes – leaves, grasses

Food wastes – wastes coming from food left overs from different restaurants

Wet garbages – wet tissues, papers, wastes

From the 100% of the garbage and wastes being thrown, forty percent of it are the total wastes,
and only 60 % are the recyclables.

We are the ones who do the separation correctly and there are different haulers throwing it on the
proper places where it needs to be thrown or recycled.

Manny Guarin Hauling Services are the ones who are collecting most of our dry and toxic
garbages and they are the ones who throw it at Payatas. This company has its complete
documents and permit for this type of business and they are hauling garbages mostly from
Alabang, Quezon City and Makati area.

On the other hand, wet garbages like food wastes are being collected by different piggeries
coming from Antipolo and Laguna.
These are the proper procedure that we are doing to ensure that proper garbage disposal is done
here at Alabang Town Center.
