“Review your goals twice everyday in order to be focused on achieving them.”

~Les Brown~

I am not going to talk about New Year’s Resolutions.

I am not going to make them, and frankly, I don’t
even want you to make them. A resolution is defined
as a decision to do something tending to be all or
nothing prospect. I don’t want to just decide to do
something then fail the first time I don’t “stick” to the
Winter/Spring 2018 Volume 8 Issue 2

plan.

Instead of resolutions, let’s make goals. A goal has a target, a purpose, an end. Goals can be
adjusted to fit life but still remain challenging. Goals can be broken down into mini goals and
planned daily, weekly, or even monthly, in order to achieve the ultimate goal. Right now, I am
going to share with you four of my work related goals. I want you to hold me accountable for
achieving them.

Goal 1: To increase the number of teens at teen events.

Goal 2: To host a photography contest with a gallery reception. (March/April)
Goal 3: To increase participation in our Teen Winter Craze. (January 15-February24)
Goal 4: To host a teen centered anime convention.

Take the time this year to set some goals. Write your goals down. Share these goals with family
and friends. Frame your goals in a positive manner, and do not be afraid to adjust your goals if life
gets in the way. You can do it.
Here is to a successful year! ~Pam
