     To study the equity market.

     To compare index and stock price movement in equity market.

     To analyses the beta or risk of the individual company of various industries.


     To provide a suggestion to the investors.

    1.5 NEED FOR THE STUDY:

    There is a need for knowing price movement between index and stock because
    It is used to analyses the individual company stock level and also beta valuation of stocks to
    know the risk associated with the securities and the volatility of the securities through which the
    investors can decide in which securities to invest and get good returns.
