Manually Closing a School

From the main screen of the School Closings Attendant, select Review.

Once on the Review screen, select Find in the bottom right corner.

Find will take you to this screen where you can search for a specific school.

Your search can be done by entering the schools ID number or by performing a Name
search. You can also do an Advanced Query if you want to look at all schools of a
specific type.

To change the status of a school, double click on the school’s name selected from the
list on the right.

From here, you can change the school’s status, and Save. If your School Closings
transmission is running, this new status will be go into the transmission.

To Reset statuses, from the main screen select File/SC Options/Reset.

Reset past school events will reset those inactive ones that are still showing up in the
system even though they aren’t going on air. Reset all school events will completely
clear all status information.
