We have begun a new reading book this
week. We are working on reading with
expression and understanding
characters.

Social Studies:

This week we have started our Weather

Unit. We have begun with the phases of
the moon, and how the sun, and tilt of Important Dates
the Earth affects the seasons.

Other: January 12- 1:00 Dismissal

We will not be bringing home homework
for the next few months, (unless January 15- M.L.K Day -NO
classwork is not finished) as most of the
students have a good grasp of the
SCHOOL
writing process for short response
paragraphs. We will be working in class
on extended responses and comparing
February 6- 1:00 Dismissal
two texts.
