Everybody’s

 Welcome
This  is  sung  while  signing,  then  the  children  can  choose  which  words  they  want  to
take  out  and  only  sign.  Eventually,  everything  is  taken  out  and  there  is  no  singing  at  all,
only  signing.    After  this,  go  back  and  have  them  sing  and  sign  the  entire  piece.
  Everybody’s  welcome,
  Yes,  yes,  welcome,
  Everybody’s  welcome,
  Come  along  and  sing.

  Oh,  children,
  Come  and  sing,
  Oh,  children,
  Come  along  and  sing.

Signs:

Everybody:   right  hand  with  palm  upturned  in  sweeping  motion  from  waist
out
Welcome:   bring  open  right  palm  back  in  towards  self  in  “come  on  in”
gesture
Yes:   right  fist  help  up  to  about  shoulder  level,  knocks  once  for  each
“yes”
Come  along:   both  index  fingers,  palms  up,  circle  each  other  from  away  from
your  body  towards  yourself
Oh:   right  thumb  and  index  finger  makes  “O”  and  start  at  left  side  of
waist  and  continue  in  large  arc  to  the  right
Children:   start  at  right  and  move  to  left  pantomiming  touching  the  heads
of  children  that  get  shorter  as  you  go  to  the  keft
Sing:   left  arm  bent  at  elbow,  elbow  close  to  left  side,  right  hand
moves  over  left  arm  like  it  is  conducting  a  choir
