PROGRAMMING and TOOL ROOM ORIENTATION

INPUT
1. Planner will check program availability:
a. Old part: verify DWG matching with job sheet.
i. If new revision used, notify programmer create program
ii. If same revision as in database, use old program
b. New part; notify programmer to prepare program before assign job to floor

PROCESS
2. Draw part profile to check all machine dimension Commented [QR1]:
3. Check tool available in inventory This is first step in programming. If programmer make
mistake in draw profile, the output (program) will make
i. Cutting tool scrap part
ii. Holder
4. Start program. The program finished will have: Commented [QR2]:
i. Cutting command This step may need modify after release to floor because
sometime theory difference from reality
ii. Feed rate and cutting speed base on material type and cutting tool
iii. List cutting tool will used
5. After program finish,
i. the program will simulation in computer to check errors
ii. Program after simulation will store in server
iii. Program identification base on DWG # and Revision
iv. Program will be print out for Operator
6. Finished program will transfer to memory card for planner
i. to adjust job router (if need)
ii. prepare assigning job
7. Job hand out to floor by Production planner
8. Operator after get job package will create tool list base on program
9. Tool list hand to Tool Room Controller to prepare tool
10. Tool Room Controller will check inventory:
a. Tool available: prepare for operator
b. Tool not available: will contact tool supplies vendor depend on item category;
i. Vendor will delivery
ii. Go out pick up
11. After hand out tool to operator, Tool Room Controller will record all borrow tool in QF-
7.1.3b in electronic form (excel sheet)

OUTPUT
12. Job ready for machine
13. If during machine process, program need adjust, programmer take responsibility to save
adjust program in serve for future reference
