I can’t believe how fast time is going. The first half of the school year is almost gone.

The children are happy to be back and ready for a lot more learning!

Please continue to reinforce at home the alphabet in Spanish, and please feel free to
use the web site with any songs about days of the week, months of the year, weather,
etc. The more they see and listen to, the better will do at school.

focusing on counting to 100, writing on Properties of matter: color,
numbers and representing objects size, texture…
from 0 to 20. Besides, answering
questions about how many?

Reading-language
High frequency: Si, no, el niño, la niña, rojo, azul,
amarillo, verde, café, anaranjado, blanco, negro, el,
mi, un, de, eres, soy, puedo, y, soy, las, tú.
Vocabulary letter “f” “F”
La flor (the flower), la fiesta (the party), la familia (the
family), el faro (the lighthouse), el fuego (the fire), la
fuente (the fountain), la foto (the picture), la foca(the
seal), el foco (the lightbulb), feliz (happy), la feria (the
fair/festival), feo (ugly), la falda (the skirt), la flauta
(the flute), las frutas (the fruit), la fresa (the

Reminders
- We will start MOY test this week. Keep
encouraging your kids to practice letters, sounds,
and mostly reading and retelling stories.
-Please use the flashcards we sent home before
to practice HFW.
-Please remember to help your children practice
number writing/recognition. They need to be
able to count to 100 by ones and tens.
