Quiz for the evaluation of the students. Individual Learning Activities Students are supposed to answer the questions asked by their teacher or peers and ask them questions. Group Learning Activities Students are supposed to express their emotions to their partner (optional). Summary The content consists of making simple inquiries and expressing emotions. Teacher will use various media to instruct their learners. The lesson will be student-centered. Measurement & Evaluation Teacher Observation Speaking Activities Quiz Measurement & Assessment Activities for In-class speaking activities and the result of the quiz. Individual Performance Measurement & Assessment Activities for Question-answer activities in pairs. Group Performance Homework (optional) - Explanation - Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan Teacher starts the lesson by showing students a chart about weather conditions just to make sure they remember the words. (The chart is put on the white board.) Learners repeat the words after their teacher pronounce them. Then, they read a text covering what they’ve learned so far and answer the questions related to that. Later, new vocabulary item is taught with the help of an entertaining video. It can be played more than once. Teacher opens a concept map showing various emotions and asks learners how they feel according to different weather conditions. Student-student conversation is also encouraged. Finally, learners take a mini quiz on Kahoot for evaluation purposes. If anything goes wrong, the lesson will be carried out according to student’s book and other materials will be printed out and distributed to students.
