Summary
The content is about animals and expressing likes & dislikes. This is the first week of unit 10. The teacher
will introduce the unit and the lesson plan first. Then, the teacher will use a mind map to introduce names
of some animals’ and to emphasize on vocabulary. The teacher will also do a Prezi presentation and show
some animals and give some information about them. After the presentation, the students will do a role-
playing game. In this game, the students will act their favourite animals and the other students will try to
guess which animal that is. When they do not know the English word of that animal, teacher will use a web
dictionary to show the students what is the name of that animal in English. Also, the teacher will show
some pictures of the animals after they are acted out. After this, the teacher will write down some of
his/her likes and dislikes. The teacher will tell the students to form groups and to tell their likes/ dislikes in
English, looking at the teacher’s examples. This part will be towards the end of the class.

Explanation

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
First, the teacher will go depending on the lesson plan. If the students participate well, the teacher will
continue to stick to the lesson plan. If the students do not like the activities, the teacher will encourage
them to participate but if this does not work, the teacher will plan a different activity according to students’
interests. If anything goes wrong, teacher will introduce the animals orally instead of prezi presentation
and mind maps. Introdution of the animals will be supported via photos.
