The subject of this SCR are steel supports for DI pipes in Elevated Water tank.
The brackets are classified prior to pipe diameter and are as follows:
Bracket for the 150 mm pipe marked as 150-1 (cantilever bracket)
Bracket for the 150 mm pipe marked as 150-2 (hanging bracket)
Bracket for the 600 mm pipe marked as 600-1 (cantilevet bracket)
Bracket for the 600 mm pipe marked as 600-2 (guider bracket to prevent possible uplifting)
Bracket for the 600 mm pipe marked as 600-3 (concrete support bracket)

Movement of the pipe will be apsorbed by pipe joint connections it self, so the steel
support can be adopted as rigid support that carry pipe load.

Since the Elevated tank walls are already casted connection between steel supports and
tunnel walls is adopted as postdrilled anchor connections.
Design criteria for the steel structure is AISC ASD
Design criteria for the seismic force is UBC 1997 vol 2, section 1632
