    A Few important guide lines to remember while doing the quotation:

    Quoting for Mileage / Transportation in a round tour: explained with the use of an example for
    easy reference.

    1. Calculate the mileage as per the mileage chart. From point to point.
    Example: - Day 1 - Colombo – Dambulla = 148km. please take the nearest highest point as
    150km for the ease of calculations.

    2. Add 20 km one way additionally as most of the hotels are not in the city areas.
    Example: the clients are staying at Heritance Kandalama
    Then the mileage would be 150 km + 20 km = 170 km

    3. For city tours in each city add 70 km additionally. (This is only to cover the city tour only.
    Mileage to reach the particular city has to be calculated separately)
    Example: Day 1 – if the Clients cover the Polonnaruwa ancient city from Dambulla.
    Kandalama - Dambulla – 20 km (one way)
    Dambulla – Polonnaruwa(one way) – 70 km x 2 ways = 140 km
    Add 70 km as the mileage for the city tour only.
    To return to the hotel add 20 km.
    Total mileage = 250 km

    4. In a round tour if the driver and vehicle is provided by Jetwing but kept as idle/leisure
    please add 100km. This is because Jetwing has to pay for the driver and vehicle for a
    min/max 100 km even if he is not being utilized.
    Example: Day 2 - a leisure day in Heritance Kandalama – Keep min/max 100 km.

    5. Use the airport transfer tariff for all transfers up and down from the airport.

    6. For sites/ tourist attractions which are on the main route, additional mileage needs to be
    included.
    Example sites such as Pinnawala 15 km one way.
    Lunuganga – 20 km one way
    This depends on the sites which will be included in itinerary and needs to be updated case by
    case.

    Other expenses – valid for year 2015 only

    Airport Entrance fees + paging board = US$ 12.00 nett


    Water / Garlands / Cold Towels / Refreshments = US$ 30.00 nett per person
    Jetwing Handling Fees :

    o 1 – 2 Pax - US$ 50.00 nett (per booking)


    o 3 – 6 pax – US$ 100.00 nett (per booking)
    o 7 – 12 pax – US$ 150.00 nett (per booking)

    o US $10 per person for beach stay only tours
