CRUISE PILOT setup
Procedure
Engage the processor and feederhouse; learn the max. no-load speed
1
Learn the max. no-load speed periodically to ensure accurate reading of the engine load indicator
To set the target throughput, harvest normally at the desired throughput level (ignoring losses for now), then press
6 and hold the A-button button until it beeps; target throughput will now be set to crop thickness in the feederhouse
Page 12: to set target throughput manually
If using “Maximum throughput with grain loss sensing“ strategy, set the loss sensors to the desired loss sensitivity
7 The loss triangles should be filled roughly halfway, to ensure that the machine can read a change is loss levels; repeat this process
if necessary
To engage CRUISE PILOT, briefly press the A-button on the multi-function lever
Engagement:
If held until it beeps, the combine will relearn current throughput in feederhouse
To disengage CRUISE PILOT, tap the foot brake (recommended) or pull back on the multi-function lever.
Disengagement:
Tapping the brake makes for a smoother disengagement

Emptying
Ground speed is reduced by 7 – 15% and remains constant while
unloading on-the-go
Pressing the A-button again deactivates this mode
After unloading is complete, there are two ways to resume
selected strategy
After the auger is swung in, the selected strategy will resume
If the auger remains swung out after unloading is turned off, the
selected strategy will resume after 30 seconds
Recommeneded use in tough-to-thresh conditions
